Real-time climate information can be an extremely helpful tool to have on the farm. It can provide a clearer understanding of your soil moisture readings and can help you with your irrigation scheduling.
The Davis Weather Station allows you to measure rainfall, temperatures, wind speed and direction, relative humidity, solar radiation, leaf wetness and barometric pressure electronically.
It comes with a display console that displays real-time climate information. The console also calculates evaporation, heat index, dew point, rain rate and wind chill, time of sunrise and sunset and moon phase.
It has a frequent data update interval of every 2.5 seconds. Climate information is stored on the display console and can be downloaded to the software provided which includes various climate-forecasting models. There is no need to connect to the internet.
Repeaters can also be added to the station if long-range transmission is required. Implementation of the station is easy and affordable.
